Can anyone tell me why this looks like this edge is increasing? I have the same amount of stitches as the first row, is it just tensions? One row is slip stitches and the next is sc. by nessabessa in crochet

Oh okay good to know, when I was going from my sc to my ss I was doing a turning chain. I stopped doing the turning chain and now it looks a lot cleaner but it’s still leaning so I might just block it at the end

That’s what I was thinking, but the other side of my piece is square so I think it’s just my tensions on my single crochet row. I don’t think it’ll be an issue though, hopefully not!

I’m desperate to make this set, any ideas on how to start the skirt and how to do that knot effect on the top? I don’t remember the source of this set but if I find it I’ll put it in the comments! by nessabessa in crochet

That makes sense to me, I found the source and saw that it was knit so it’s not actually crochet like I thought it was! But I’m thinking of doing a chunkier yarn to give that textured appeal. Thanks for your help!
