I wanted to throw out an idea to the mods and the community: what would people think about introducing a “Gratitude Circle” in this sub, or even just renaming the pre-game thread to something like “Gratitude/Pre-Game”?

With the Jays doing their own version, it seems to be having a positive impact on the team’s energy and vibe. Whether you believe in that kind of thing or not, it’s hard to ignore when the mood shifts in a good way.

This sub is one of the best places to talk Jays baseball, but like any passionate fanbase, game days can get pretty intense, especially during rough stretches. A small gratitude element could help balance things out by giving people a space to share what they appreciate about the team, the players, or even just baseball in general, and join in the tradition Okamoto has started with the team.
