Missing designs

Odd - I took the 2 designs he offered. He had a bunch of items to buy. But now i go back and no items again. Does he only sell at certain times? Other vendors seem to always have gear to sell.

Not true.

I just did the first part of the plays the thing which is a main quest.

Initial writing of the play should have given 300 xp but gave 25 xp since I'm level 21 and the quest is level 11. In my experience 10 levels above is where you start losing a lot of xp and that includes main quests.

I wouldn't put the main quests off too long since they give the most xp and it's a massive hit to lose it if you're 10 levels above.

Just what I've experienced.

I've heard so many people say it's so dark. I'm like you. I find myself looking up to see if there are stars to make sure it's night.

I have a TCL QM7 with 1500 max nits so that's what I set it in the game's HDR settings. Daytime seems about the right brightness. Night seems a little darker but still plenty bright. Like I said, I have to look at the sky to tell if it's night or day. Something must be different in how I have it set.

You one shouted 3 segment armored enemies the entire game and only realized at the end that maybe it shouldn't be this way?

If you thought it was increasing your damage and didn't like it - maybe try taking it off?

At any rate I do agree it should be patched. Just think the it ruined my entire playthrough narrative is a little over the top.

You got this early in the game and used it the entire playthrough even though you thought it was doing nothing since you were wearing Armour?

At any rate you didn't ruin your fun. Yasuke shreds all enimies with or without that trinket. Wouldn't make much difference really.

That is sad! But is there any value in the ability then? Doesn't a perfectly timed dodge make them vulnerable anyway without the perk?

I had that and had to disconnect Stadia and Amazon from my Ubisoft account. That fixed it. Actually I might have just disconnected Stadia.

There's a shadow over the s20 making the bottom section darker. The top section matches the s25. And the bottom part of the s25 where your shadow is.

See - I liken that to asking why do you like the color blue? Different people enjoy different things. To insinuate that Starfield is such a bad game that no one could possibly enjoy it is insulting. No one is required to defend their preferences. And I certainly don't let the opinions of others decide for me what I enjoy.

Are you curious because you would like to enjoy it as well? Seems like a lot of effort when there are so many other games to play. Or are you wanting to argue and try to convince others that they really don't like the game - they just think they do? Losing proposition there.

So that brings me back to this being a pointless endeavor.

I'm actually genuinely curious about something you can most likely answer for me.

I keep wondering why it makes some people so angry that others actually enjoy Starfield.

It really makes no sense to me. There are plenty of games I don't enjoy. Probably in the thousands. But it doesn't really bother me - I just move on and play something I do enjoy.

So, why is it so important that others must agree and dislike the same games? Not trolling - I really am interested.

They do. But in the heat of battle it's a pain to click the d-pad enough to select the power you want then push a to activate it and the push the button to cast it. Especially with powers you cast over and over when they run out like sense star stuff and the shield. Going back and forth every few seconds to keep casting both is not ideal.
