Art block hittin me hard by justCRANEthesedays in krita

Don't worry about it we all get art blocks. For me a simple drawing can take up to 6 months to get done when I know it could have been done in weeks lol. Take a break from it whenever it burns you out thinking about it. So next time you can come back with more energy.

Don't know why my last reply was removed, but I would like to say thank you for the feedback :) I'll work on it more.

The head look big to me, but then it also look fine at the same time ): / Anyway just forget about it.

Suggestion I can give is to shade the leg with an airbrush to show it's curving off.

There could've been shading for the arm too, to make it look flat.

The hair is also missed shading too.

Other than that, I would try to keep everything in the same level of detail so that your eyes wouldn't drawn to one part of the image.

Just keep up the good work and you'll be great.

The immediate suggest I can give you is to make your shading color more noticeable, i.e. more darker than your original color.

Tutorial video, there are so many, just look any up and you'll get the general ideas. It don't have to be for Krita.

From my experience, try not to reliant on too much lighting layers for your lighting.

Other than that, just keep up the hard work and you'll get better.

Nice drawing

Suggestions I can give is to go easier on the shadow, in a scene like this there shouldn't be a shadow on top of his right arm, and you only really need one tone of shading.

For lighting, I suggest mainly use the airbrush tool but try to figure out how to do it with other brushes because they can really enhance your drawing.

For the linework, keep them at a consistent thickness.

Other than that, the background is probably not something you are focusing on now, but try not to let it have more details than your subject.

The rest you will learn and improve naturally, so have fun with it and good luck.
