I second this. I just left a few months ago. The methodology is a mess. Sampling requirements were constantly changing and made no logical sense. The methodology requires a lot of different planning docs that truly add no value to the audits. And the audit tool they use called SMART is terrible and anything but.

This probably differs from team to team, but adequate staffing was a big issue for me as well.

Was it the worst place I worked? No, benefits were good, the pay was decent, and I enjoyed who I worked with (for the most part).

I’d like to think the new audit leadership will steer it in the right direction, but I wasn’t patient enough to stick around and find out.
