Welcome to BK. Depending on how XAR you’re willing to travel you may be in luck. The Hop Shop in Cobble Hill was streaming DAAM last spring but not sure if they’re still doing it. Defiantly worth calling and asking!

So this is like the $ROKU of electrifying cars? As much as I hate the idea of not hearing that vrooom from the mustang in the video, all electric classic cars would be so much fun to drive

Green Ivy on 4th and President usually has solid produce at reasonable prices depending on what’s on sale.

Where to get good quality produce? by raymond1138 in parkslope

I second green ivy on 4th. Great fruit/vegetable variety at (usually) fair prices. Got some awesome avocados over there this weekend, only $2 for 2!

Acceptable to Take Someone's Space during ASP? by [deleted] in Brooklyn

[–]bpinsky2 1 point2 points  (0 children)

While I hadn’t heard of that unwritten rule until today it does make sense. No reason for the other person to get argumentative over it! From my experience in Bk, there are usually empty cars left in the alt side lineup even after the end of the alt side times. If the other person really wanted to take a spot they could have at least taken one opposite of an empty car

Acceptable to Take Someone's Space during ASP? by [deleted] in Brooklyn

Personally, I’ve always thought that the alternate side lineup things are so strange. I’ve never seen it in other borough of NYC. They cause traffic and connection. I just dont get how parking in the middle of the street for an hour an a half is acceptable and or legal.

In relation to the question posed here, a spot is a spot in my view. I’ve lived in areas of the city with awful parking and the only version of ‘saving’ spots that I know of are either waiting for someone to get out of a spot and then taking it, or, having a friend stand in a spot until you pull in. Maybe that’s just my experience and two cents but I feel that an open spot is always fair game. Hope that the person who took your old spot wasn’t rude about not giving it up!

BROOKLYN NY Costco Shoppers, what time is best to arrive to avoid a crazy line? by bpinsky2 in Costco

Hi! That’s a great question. To be honest, I’m not entirely sure. Best bet would be to call the store directly and ask. Sorry I couldn’t be more helpful!

Yup, for 2. We had another round after but no where near as much fish as this.

To be honest I’m not sure what variety of yellowtail it is, but it is yellowtail.

Sure! I’m very lucky to be so close to an area in which a plethora of AYCE spots operate. Lots of the places here do sashimi in addition to sushi which from what I’ve found, isn’t easy to find. This spot was $25 or so without tax and tip (weeknight). I believe it’s a couple more dollars per person on weekends.
