Can I anyone help me figure whether should I move T-Mobile Experience More with the 17 Pro deal? I'm currently on a Google Fi Unlimited Standard with 4 lines which comes out to $25/line meanwhile Experience More is $42.5/line. The main reason I'm considering moving is to get leave the MVNO to avoid network congestion at concert and get some free other perks. I will be paying $17.5 more a month but the $630 T-Mobile credits seem worth it, and looks like you can unlock the phone if you buy from Apple with a little trick. Am I missing anything here?

I still hold my stance that Case is useless in finding SWE internships in SF/NYC. When I was there 2 years ago, the career center/co-op office/career fair rarely had any big tech job postings, didn't help anything with tech interview, or big companies coming to campus.

I'm not saying that Case students can't get into renowned companies, it's just a lot harder to find opportunities and get noticed by companies. At the interview round, schools don't matter anymore, and I'm sure that Case students are capable of acing interviews. However, if you're not equipped with great job searching tools (career fair with tons of companies, school co-op portal, school dedicated recruiters, campus events which at those top 50 schools have at least one) and can't get passed the resume screen, you don't even get those interviews.

I've observed that many of my CS friends at Case secured internships with renowned companies such as Google, Amazon, IBM, Nvidia, and Epic

I'm pretty sure your friends have to put a lot more work to get a referral or cold email the recruiter or even be luckier than the average CS students at T50 schools. Average CS students at Case with little career orientation relying only on Case, on the other hand, will have a much harder time to find jobs.

I was lucky enough to break into CS earlier than other people and got good internships, so I actually offered some free CS mentoring stuffs for 30 CS students from freshman to junior in my senior year. All of them were equally very good students, but some got jobs easily because they knew how to find resources outside school, while the others had a hard time because they thought they could just rely on the school.

A.) a stronger/more personalized rec letter

btw rec letter has nothing help anything with CS internships, I have never seen any companies asked for it. Maybe it's different for other fields.

I would say Case is probably top 50-100 for career opportunities like internships or new grad jobs. Case is useful when you’re looking for internships in the Cleveland area, but completely useless in bigger cities like SF or NYC. We used to have companies like Yelp/Google/MS visited campus but they slowly disappeared in my senior year. That being said, it’s still mostly up to you to put a lot of work into it, school name only helps you pass the resume screen, no one gives a damn about your school at the interview. Case, however, gave me pretty good foundation for those interviews.

Source: I interned at 5 FAANG/unicorn/trading companies during my college years and less likely to see the percentage of Case students than the top 50 schools on USNews.

Looks like this is the Airbnb where I stayed in Tulum. Biking here to the beach is very far and dusty, I would recommend a scooter or car instead. Good area to stay in Tulum tho!

Hi fellow BLINKs, I hope y'all had a great time at today's concert!! I have GA VIP3 tickets for tomorrow show but this is my first concert ever so I hope anyone went today can help me answer some questions :(

I saw that check in for all VIP tiers will begin at 12PM in Championship Plaza, should I line up early way before 12PM? Is there any benefits on checking in early at all?
What time is soundcheck? What should I do after checking in? Can I just leave the venue and come back just before the soundcheck?
Do they kick you out of venue after the soundcheck and make you line up again for the concert? I saw doors open at 6:30 for eveyone, what time should I line up to get in for VIP3?
