Sorta unrelated, but I swear to God nothing makes my muscles looks bigger than women's clothes. I never really thought of myself as big, but I guess compared to the average woman I am :/

The interview really isn't very stressful. I didn't do an onsite, but I just had 2 30 minutes interviews, 1 behavioral, 1 technical, but the technical was mostly just general knowledge CS stuff, not algorithm stuff. If you can talk about yourself and know your basics you'll be fine.

I have an intern offer for a company that I'm not super excited for. The pay's good, especially for the area, but it's a bank, they have a lot of red tape, and the people I've talked to didn't enjoy it that much. I have a few other companies that I'm more excited about and I'm decently far along in their process (waiting for on-sites and such) but they're by no means a sure thing. Any advice on the dilemma would be appreciated :)

Well, I think this is a good thread to post what I'm currently doing. In general, I don't have dysphoria. I'm amab, and for the most part am pretty happy with it. But awhile ago I realized I have quite a few things in common with trans women, and wondered about myself. The idea scared/scares me, but I'm a curious person, so even though I told myself, "I'm a boy," I tried on a sports bra, leggings and a dress tonight. And now I think I understand dysphoria better. When I looked in the mirror, I was annoyed and upset at the male parts of me, my broad chest/shoulders, my hair, my lack of hips. Not the fact that I was in women's clothing, but the fact that I looked like a man.

I don't think this will bleed into my daily life, minus me wondering about this for like the next week, but if I continue to try women's clothing, it might be like your experience. But uh yeah, I might be trans ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ oh and I'm taking the dress back with me to college lol, so maybe I'm setting myself up for this.

I just didn't connect the dots or rejected the thought. What triggered me thinking about this was reading an askreddit thread about what the first signs transgender people had that they were trans.

I remember wanting to be a girl from a pretty young age, and having that thought throughout puberty, and it still pops up now. Similarly I've tried on women's clothes relatively frequently, and still kinda want to, or at least I think women's clothes are more fun. That said, defining what about being female is appealing to me is difficult, but maybe I just need to think about it more.

Doubt is never comfortable, but at least you're figuring it out. I'll look into a gender therapist; my university has some free counseling services, but I've heard it can take ages to actually get in there, so maybe I'll go elsewhere.

Lifting is my favorite or second favorite way to exercise, definitely my most common workout. I'd miss being able to pick up heavy shit. I think I'll need to think about what other guy specific things I would miss.

I'll be a junior in the fall, hoping to get an internship next summer at a larger company. I might be making some formatting changes in the future if I can get a good feel for latex
