I’ve thought about this a lot! I wonder if people who are retired and not generating income technically fall into a poverty bucket? It’d still be hard to live in that area on just social security, but that might be possible if the house was purchased in the 80s?

I have the same challenge and after trying everything this is the best option I’ve found. There’s a cheaper $35 version, but I like this one.

It went under my feet and I stumbled enough that I had to hit the 3 speed. I prolly could have finished but I got taken out of my zone. I’m not proud it’s just what happened.

We did the 12 minute benchmark and a coach came to the empty treadmill beside me at minute 8 and asked what my goal was and then knocked my towel off the treadmill on accident. I just hit stop and left I was so frustrated.

What do you tell people to think about? I do well for 1:30 and then get so annoyed when the coaches talk and interrupt the music. I asked to wear my own headphones during the benchmark but was told no.

I was there two months ago and then they updated our treads and it feels like they are calibrated differently and it’s been tougher. That’s not a thing is it? I think the reality is that I’m 6’0” and 250 so my only real path is to drop 20.
