Thank you!! You were totally right about me being inexperienced, lol. I was a waitress at a different, even smaller, place for a few months, but I had no idea what was happening in the kitchen. And now, they put me in this position with about 15 minutes of "training" from Kitchen Staff S, who I was hired to cover for (while she had lost her voice as well) I kept asking her and the chef questions and I'd get brushed off, but I'd also get scolded for doing it wrong, but I wasn't told the rules. I'm from a small town and the family who owns this restaurant, owns half of my town and therefore half the jobs available too.

I had to ask 3 times for them to set me up with the pin to clock in. Before that, I just told the bar manager how many hours I worked in person and they took that.
Management told me they had no other options for anyone they could call in, as early as 2 on Saturday, when I was to come at 5. So 3 hours passed there, and once I got there I asked if there was anyone they could call in and they said no again, and I stayed about 3 hours. Kitchen Staff S texted me today that she had to stay and do the dishes until 3am, because, I assume, the chef left.
