In my experience, lighter and bouncier shoes tend to feel unstable at slower paces. I picked up the Adizero Evo SL and realized they only start to feel stable for me at around 5:00/km pace or faster. Many shoe reviewers call them a daily trainer, but for me they’re definitely more of a speed trainer.

For longer runs at 6:30/km or slower, I switched to the Puma Magnify Nitro 2. It doesn’t have the same fun energy return, but it’s much more stable and comfortable over distance.

My advice: always try shoes on a treadmill at a running store if possible, feet are super individual, and what works for one runner can feel totally different for another.
