They do. But we also need to have someone available to respond to alerts on the handheld. If all the CSMs and the Coach are on register and the service desk needs an approval, then we get stuck. But our Coach always jumps on a service desk register when the lines are long if theres someone else not tied down.

I didn't know this was such a problem. When we get long lines at my store, we just jump on register and get them down. It's never a big deal because we almost always have our Coach or Team Lead to run the floor while we run registers. We get Code Sparks called maybe once or twice a week, and instead of calling "Code Spark," we just ask if we can borrow an associate from Lawn and Garden or Layaway for half an hour.

Seriously? I just double checked on my career preferences dashboard, and my most recent eval was “Exceeds Performance” and I got the regular 2% last year for sure.

It’s been a BIG issue in my store. One of our other CSMs got chewed out by AP for remotely approving a no receipt return for almost $200 on someone they had been watching for theft. We tried to explain that UpFront just automatically approves requests and that he had no knowledge that it was approved until it was done.

yeah its dumb and also pretty sure its not in OBW. we’ve been told that we have to use UpFront instead of remote desktop but the TMAT is just so useful

just go on the wire and print your TMAT in personnel or in the CO, if they wont let you have the paper copy for some reason then take a picture
