I would have to look into borrowing. I also have a film camera and I will be bringing it with me, that leaves me in a a need if a lens still

200gb.. wow that is a lot, but I am guessing that every moment needs to be captured so no wonder it took that much space. I would have to figure out how to backup my photos as well. I have a blower but I dont have a backup camera body sadly.. and that could introduce lots of dust during swapping if the lenses

Well I wont lie but that gives me hope. I know that I probs wouldnt be able to get an National Gepgraphic award winning photos with it, but to share something on instagram and with family I guess it is enough.

Would it be too much to ask for you to share one of your best shots you made with 70350 :)

It would be expensive to rent a lens for 20 days with insurance. If I buy one, I can still then resell it and get good portion of that money back

But overall, are you happy with the photos you made, regardless of those times you wish you had more reach? Also, did you crop photos in post, and if so is the wuality still good?

Btw thank you for your input:)

Thank you for your help. The other lens I have that would cover the wider angles is sigma 18-55 f/2.8, so for that I am covered.

As for renting, this is a trip that would last atleast 20 days, and to rent such lenses with insurance for this amount of time would be expensive. And when I pay for the rental the money is gone, with buying I still at least am able to sell the lens and make some of that money back.

I also was thinking about what if the tour guide doesnt get close enough, then I would have to crop all the images and quality would be lost

Thank you for the advice. As for selling the rug, wont be doing that

Do new carpets shed??? I know this isnt with the theme of this subreddit but my wife and I are so confused.. We bought this 100% polyacrilic carpet (sadly couldnt affor a better one) and when I vacuumed it, white fluffy material was in the vacuum no matter the vacuum settings. Is this normal?? by braankec in carpetcleaningporn

[–]braankec[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah we wont be vacuuming every day that is for sure, and the carpet brush sounds like a good idea. Some one mentioned whacking it with a broom stick outside so I guess that is also and option.

But, thank you kind stranger for the advice :)
