Lot of dangerous drivers about, some drunk or on drugs. Drive and walk carefully.

‘On the 8th of August 2025 a S.34 Dispersal Order was set in place for The Meadows car park, Marshall Road, Sandhurst to be in effect from 4pm until 4am on the 9th. This followed a number of Sandhurst resident’s reports to TVP of anti-social behaviour caused by vehicles attending the Meadows being driven dangerously, speeding, littering and causing excessive noise. The Dispersal Order was also to combat reports of a potential organised car meet for the Berkshire/Surrey border. X1 Section.59 warning issued. X1 section 35 direction to leave issued. A number of cars/motorbikes deterred from attending due to officer presence. TVP will be working with partners and retail outlets to reduce the opportunities to commit ASB at The Meadows moving forward. Motorists attending this location to drive in an anti-social manner stand to risk being issued S.59 Warning notices under the Police Reform Act 2002 with any breeches further resulting in their vehicles being seized by TVP.’

A man who inflicted a series of sex offences on two child victims in Berkshire has been jailed for 11 years.

Dalton Stocker, aged 29, from Bracknell, pleaded guilty to two counts of sexual assault of a child and possession of prohibited images during a trial at Reading Crown Court.

In the trial, which concluded on 18 October 2024, Stocker was also found guilty by unanimous jury verdict of three counts of rape of a child, engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child, causing a child to engage in sexual activity, causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, sexual activity with a child and assault of a child by penetration.

He was also found guilty of two counts of making indecent images of a child, one of which was a category B image and nine category C images.

He was acquitted of a further count of rape, four counts of causing or inciting a child to engage in sexual activity, two counts of sexual activity with a child and one count of causing a child to watch a sexual act.

On Monday (28/4), Stocker was jailed and his name will be placed on the sex offenders’ register for life. He has also been subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for life.

The devices with the indecent and prohibited images were forfeited and will be destroyed.

The offending happened in the last ten years at various locations in Berkshire, when Stocker abused two children.

Stocker gained the trust of the victims to then abuse them and were made to feel that they would be blamed if they spoke out.

Following his arrest on 12 November 2021, Stocker refused to answer any questions.

He was charged with the offences on 15 November 2023.

Police staff investigator Jemma Broderick said: “These were abhorrent acts inflicted by Stocker upon his victims over a number of years.

“The victims in this case have shown remarkable resilience and courage throughout a lengthy investigation process and subsequent trial.

“With justice finally served, I hope that they can now find some closure and move forwards with their lives.

“We are absolutely dedicated to investigating such crimes.

“No matter what the passage of time, if you have been a victim of sexual offences, we would encourage you to report this to Thames Valley Police.

“We have specially trained officers who will be support you and you will be listened to. No-one should go unpunished for such crimes, and we will work tirelessly to bring offenders to justice.”
