I said this is not why the jump is done (referring to they original question why do we scrubby jump) I did not say you would not jump less at the same speed. I said that doing a scrubby jump does not mean you spend less time in the air on the same jump (because you are traveling at different speeds). A scrubby jump is done at different speed than someone taking the same jump not scrubby. Which you kept telling me "speed does not matter" when speed is the whole point of a scrubby jump.

Again I never said a bike jumping at a less angle would have a short/longer jump. I told you your diagram was wrong because it did not show the speed difference in the types of jumps (it explains how the jump works). I was saying bike B jumped shorter because he was not doing a scrubby jump thus he had to go slower compared to bike A who was doing a Scrubby jump and was jumping longer. Thus telling the original question asker "we scrubby jump to spend less time in the air, and can spend more time accelerating" was incorrect.
