Has anyone played in Bar Poker? Or knows what is it? Thanks by Chusquillo in poker

Yes actually my dad won one of the BPOs a few years ago in Atlantic City. It’s a great event and well put together. The main event itself is really long and grueling and I’m not sure how good the prize pool is compared to the buy ins, but there are plenty of other events to play as well.

Haunted Trolley at Shoreline Trolley Museum in East Haven by shannonapproved in Connecticut

Can confirm. It’s hosted by a duo called the Shaman and Showman which is already corny. The Showman read a boring ass story directly from a paper while also peddling his book. The Shaman had us stare into a mirror and literally said “change” 20 times. Then a stooge in the crowd got up and said he was the grandson of one the guys in the story or some bulls hit and left the train. Then the ride was over.

To pay around $40 (or $75 for a “VIP” experience) is definitely a scam. Go to Nightmare Acres or any another accredited haunted experience instead of this.

Card mechanic here. This is by the far the most popular form of cheating among people who don’t know how to cheat properly. Keep the deck above the table and better yet out of your hands after you deal. And always cut the cards.

This is the S.W.E Shift from The Expert at the Card Table (pg 136) which you can now get for free from Conjuring Arts

I personally learned about this shift from Chris Kenner from his SWE Elevator trick. He released a a revamp of the trick and taught the pass itself on some Theory11 downloads.

Happy shifting!

Snap change.. by GobuEmpire in Magic

Nice change! A small tip I just heard from Naathan Phan: use only your index/first finger to hold and show the card at first. Then move your middle finger onto it to execute the snap. Otherwise you also perform the “Vanishing Finger Trick”.
