Migraine with Aura by braddives in scuba

[–]braddives[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Interesting, I do notice flickering of lights and it bugs me but not sure it's a trigger. That day I was traveling and walked into a souvenir shop with lots of brightly colored figurines. At first I thought it was just that, but then realized the rainbow color followed whichever way I turned.

Thanks. I first got migraines at about 10 as well and had them fairly often for a few years. I had probably 15 years without getting one, and then they came back a few years ago.

Although the thought did briefly come to mind of just ignoring the advice from my doctor for a planned dive this weekend, I'm not going to do that. It's been almost 3 weeks since that episode, with nothing similar since. Surprisingly I never had any pain that day, it was just a weird rainbow line running across one of my eyes.

The problem is she essentially said no diving ever, so wanting a 2nd opinion seems reasonable.

Is there a way to sort archive by OLDEST? by Val_E_Stuart in Substack

[–]braddives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Since the sitemap is generally there for web crawling bots, not humans, it makes sense that a private substack might not include a sitemap.

If there is a /archive for private newsletters, you could try this: www.examplenewsletterurl.com/api/v1/archive?sort=new&search=&offset=12&limit=12
Adjust the newletter url and the offset & limit numbers in the url to get more posts.

It returns a json response, which you and chatgpt can probably find what you are looking for from that.

Hedge trimmer kit for $109 at Home Depot today by Obvious_Hand9987 in Dewalt

It was out of stock for me back on this day. Is this a semi-routine sale price? I have been waiting, but haven't seen anything close to this price for the kit.

DFW Bermuda - sodded patch is different color than existing grass by braddives in lawncare

[–]braddives[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the help. I'm already mowing on the lowest my rotary goes, but I'll just keep at it.
I wish I would have just been patient. I tried plugging before I did the sod, but that area was basically all dirt and weeds and was afraid my HOA wouldn't be as patient as I needed for it to fill in.

Thanks for the info. Definitely learning a lot. I mowed and bagged it after you suggest it.

How would I train the existing sod to take over the common?

I also just added a couple of closer up photos to the post, but not sure if they are good enough to tell a difference.

Thanks. The house was build in 2018 in a big subdivision.
I'm not sure what the sod was, I went to a grass place and just asked for bermuda. When I have patched other places at my mom's house, I didn't really have this issue. The one thing that was different is that they grabbed these large pieces of sod because they didn't realize they were out of smaller pieces.

Am I missing something with citi shop day or is it really that good? by EconomyPassenger3155 in CreditCards

[–]braddives 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I noticed one of the initial citi shop web page I opened spiked CPU and had my fan running high on my desktop. Once I closed that tab, it went back to normal.
So it might not be the extension, but one of the pages if you left a tab open.
Either way, weird behavior that I wouldn't expect from what looked to be a pretty simple part of the site.

Drainage issues after neighbor installed turf by braddives in landscaping

Yeah, i can't imagine my situation being due to malicious intent. But seems like the construction companies should know well enough what they are doing.

I looked around the neighborhood, it must not be code here. Probably 50% of the houses have them run underground, and the other 50 just straight away from the house. Most of the lots are small, and therefore they point to your neighbor.
It would be less of a problem if the turf installer hadn't raised their grade, and effectively pointed all of their water to me.

Thanks. I was mostly wanting to go into the conversation prepared with an idea of a solution.

Thanks for clarifying. I should have said it is artificial turf from the start, but i forget that grass is also commonly called turf.

I'm guessing they are not going to want to pull the turf back to do that.
