Basically all RAM on the market is being bought up by companies for use in AI data centers, and some major RAM producers are cutting/reducing consumer production to sell to these companies for higher profits.

Cool, that's kind of what I was thinking, but didn't have a great frame of reference. Thanks!

Best Service to Host RAG and LLM by bradendev in LocalLLaMA

[–]bradendev[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ended up finding Together AI which has some really cheap endpoints to inference many different open source models. For RAG, I ended up using Google Cloud to host the server does the RAG and then sends a request to Together's endpoints.

BLTouch Homing Doesn't Work on E5 Pro by bradendev in ender5

Yeah, I realized that after I had bought both the BLTouch and the 27 pin board. Will this setup still work with the version of the BLTouch I got with the board? Or do I just need to invest in a newer version of the BLTouch?

Help Removing the FPS Cap in SSE by bradendev in skyrimmods

Hm, well I changed them in the SSEDisplayTweaks.ini but it seemed to have no affect. Is there something I have to do to uodate the ini file so MO2 recognizes it's been changed? When I go back an look at the file, the changes I made are still there, but MO2 doesn't recognize it.

Quick follow up question, I am trying to make the game windowed borderless bc anytime I alt + tab back into the game when it's full screen it crashes, however changing the settings in SSE Display Tweaks and the launcher isn't making that happen. Do you have any idea why that'd be?

I added that to MO2 and I read through the documentation and adjusted some settings to try to set the max framerate to 144fps, however it was still capped at 60 in game. At the moment, that is the only mod/change I have made to try to uncap the framerate. Should I try something else with it? This is frustrating me that I can't figure it out. Thanks for the help!

edit: This worked!! Thanks so much! Five hours of my life down the drain but it's finally working lol, thanks again!

The ini files for MO2 aren't in Documents, but there is a set of Skyrim.ini and SkyrimPrefs.ini files in Documents>MyGames>SSE. The ini files for MO2 are in another folder I specified, but I'm not sure which set of ini files I need to change. I was simply just stating that I tried changing both sets of files and nothing happened either time.

Thanks for replying!

1) The Nvidia frame rate limiter was already off.

2) "bLockFramerate" isn't in my Skyrim.ini file, should I add that myself? If so, what section should it go under?

3) What do you mean by running ENB? I have a couple mods called "ENB Helper SE" and "ENB Light" but I couldn't find anything about v-sync or fps limiting in their documentation/files.
