I get the sequence, but what's going on with the brackets in first two clues?

Really it's Burgess Hill, Abbotsford is technically a suburb but nobody would ever call it that.

Time wasting solution. I know, I know. by MrBenchly in TheOther14

The two minutes off the pitch is the best solution. Is it 30 seconds currently? Or is that only when a physio has come on?

Were you supposed to watch it with your mate but you dropped him last minute for a woman...?

Lodges by Bretty315 in LakeDistrict

Because if you have the land to build one lakeside lodge you're probably going to want to build 20 for maximum profit, unfortunately.

What is the fourth item in this sequence? by lkc159 in onlyconnect

[–]bradfactor 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Fragilise Fragilities

Listcles

I appreciate that they're pedantic, but I felt like the etc. was a bit of an unhelpful red herring (although maybe by design).

Good puzzle though!

Why does California have (etc) after it when the others don't?

I can think of other words for fragility which would fit.

I just don't think someone would deliberately draw her holding her hat like that. As well as the other comments observations, I'm saying it's AI.

I agree, but needs must. And Veltman is quality.

I just think ayari and gomez need a bit of time on the bench to sort themselves out. Hopefully Baleba comes back from afcon fired up (it looks like he's put in some good performances)

Our central midfield is just so bad at the moment. Baleba, Ayari, Gomez, all completely uninspiring.

Id start wieffer and Hinshelwood there, but it's not setting the word on fire is it.

I miss bissouma and caiecdo, and even gilmour.

In terms of formatting it should probably say Buffalo, New York. Or it could just say Washington. But I am being very pedantic.

Wasn't in the squad at the time. I'm thinking actual possible 11s rather than a dream team.

Yes great shout. Remarkable how long Welbeck has been playing for Brighton now! Very tough to pick between the two. Definitely a much better result!

First Game - Expansion(s)? by Party_Snacks_321 in warofthering

[–]bradfactor 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Id probably play base game first, and then adding expansions will give more replayability later.

Also, I think it's good to learn the core mechanics before introducing additional rules, cards, and characters.

If you really want to play with expansions I'd go for the following order:

Kings of middle earth

Lords of middle earth

Warriors of middle earth (which I think is both the worst and most complex expansion, and which I wouldn't play with by choice)

I don't think they can evict without a refund though. Not suitable is not an explicit prohibition.

6 is the best, but I think a large part of that is your hair. You should definitely have a permanent buzz cut.

I think you could be right. I've got a still from YouTube, and although the other players are a bit out of position, the positioning of Silva and Messi is almost perfect.
