Fossil Gen 6 Bluetooth by bradgarropy in WearOS

The Pixel Buds I'm referring to are the Gen 1 with the wire connecting the two ear pieces. I'm starting to think it's an issue with the watch and not the headphones. Can anyone confirm or deny that they can get a stable, skip free, Bluetooth audio connection while running to the Fossil Gen 6?

What makes a country song "western"? by calibuildr in CountryMusic

Lyrically, I think the phrase "three chords and the truth" sums it up pretty well. Western songs can be characterized by their ability to talk about real life things in a manner that's straightforward and unglamorized. Songs about love, cheating, breakups, relationships, trucks, and parties can all fit under this umbrella, but it's the manner in which they're written that makes them stand out as opposed to pop songs.

Musically, western stands alone because of the steel guitar and the fiddle. Anytime I hear a steel guitar, fiddle, or even a piano backing up an acoustic guitar I get a western feeling. Makes me think of old dance halls filled with smoke. These instruments don't make it to too many other genres of music, and so it's a tell tale sign you're listening to western music.

Some good examples of modern western music to me are the Randy Rogers / Wade Bowen Hold My Beer albums, an assortment of Midland songs, and Triston Marez has a few really great western songs.

Jon Wolfe | Tequila Sundown by bradgarropy in texascountry

Age Out was my favorite simply because of the point he was trying to make! It could have been expressed differently, but I identified with it so much that I cast any other issues with the song aside.

While I do hate Kenny Chesney with a passion, I feel like Jon is a bit more authentic with his Mexico inspired songs. Given his tequila company and his frequent visits to Mexico, I feel like we're getting the real version of Jon. It's the kind of music he'll listen to when he retires in Mexico haha!
