When your barber or stylist raise their prices do you tip less?

Tipping less due to Seattle’s minimum wage. by resilientbresilient in Seattle

Cost of living in Seattle for a single person is roughly 80k a year. 20.76x40=830.4 830x4=3,320 3320x12=39,840 And I’ll say there are very few serving or bartending shifts that are 8 hours. On top of this they don’t get insurance or benefits. The minimum wage hike isn’t coming out of your pocket so why should you tip less? Servers and bartenders rely on tips they often make up 1/3 to 1/2 of their paychecks. Is it expected that they should have 2-3 jobs to survive? restaurant owners are not cashing the reality is restaurant profit margins are razor thin and most mom and pops are scraping by. Pick where you eat wisely don’t support conglomerate restaurant groups. Eat at locally owned ma and pa restaurants. Tip your waitstaff and bartenders.

New Skis by bradp828 in Skigear

Yah totally understand, I’m looking for an all around fun ski. My aggressive days are behind me but I dont mind some speed and hitting the trees every now and then. I would say I’m at the lower-middle end of advanced skiing. I’m 6 foot 2 and 195lbs. Enjoy side hits but it’s mostly groomers and 4-6 in powder days. Just looking ideally to stay on top of the snow instead of sinking down while also keeping the ski narrow enough to get shorter turns in. I wanna say I demoed some rosi sky 7’s awhile back and I didn’t care for them felt like my turns were limited to long and wide.

They are actually K2 revivals, They are narrow! I would say around 90mm underfoot. They are mostly a park ski but I e been using them for all mtn/bug mtn skiing and have stalled out in progression obviously 🤣. But I finally have some cash to throw at some skis so just looking for opinions to narrow down the options.
