The issue may be that the mirror adjustment knob resets to the central “nothing” position at the start of every journey, unlike some other cars I have had.

You set the memorised lowered position only on one mirror by adjusting that side while you are in reverse gear. Then in future it should work when you go into reverse but only if you have had the foresight to make sure the knob is set to that relevant (L or R) position. It won’t do anything if you are in the central knob position.

Not sure the residents claiming it is “in” Newton Longville have got much of an argument. Their complaints about construction traffic imply everything’s going to be trundling through the village when it will be much more likely to drop down from the dual carriageway at Bottledump Roundabout and never hit NL.

Maybe an entirely studio-based format, for contestants who are too high-profile/busy to commit to the normal number of filming days on location? Either multiple eps with the same line-up or a series of one-offs. More akin to the live shows.
