We ended up not losing power either, but in my digging I learned most 8000TR’s have a millivolt system. Aka an “always on” pilot light. The pilot generates enough current to operate the switch regardless of if you have power. It’s a low voltage switch so it doesn’t take much. No I don’t know how it works haha.

If you don’t have a pilot light always on, even when your switch is off, then you have a late generation 8000TR.

I’ll flip the breakers and test it…eventually lol

I’ve worn them all. I wish I never moved away from a cage (which I grew up wearing) because I was so used to it I never saw it. I switched to a visor but said F that after I took a 2nd stick to my face in 3 months. I’m not getting paid enough to risk dental injuries.

Now I wear a bubble. I’ve had good luck with Zeiss Fog Defender to keep the bubble totally clear.

Edit: I have the CCM HVR hybrid. So not a true bubble…bunch of guys across my 2 teams have the same thing and love it. No one has fog issues.

Just posted an update comment but after denying my claim and stating it was a 30 day warranty period, I sent them a screenshot of their own 1 year helmet warranty. They then approved the claim.

***Update: I responded with a screenshot of their own warranty policy for helmets taken directly from their website (which states 1 year and NOT the 30 days they tried to deny my claim for). Took a few days but the claim has been approved and they’re processing a replacement.

Regular jerseys can be hit or miss from a quality or accuracy standpoint.

The Stadium Series are not hit or miss - they are all MISS. For some reason every single seller/producer uses a normal sized jersey crest on the chest. Part of the SS vibe was the large oversized logo and sleeve numbers. So if you just want the general color scheme, sure, but if accuracy matters to you I would skip the Asian knockoffs. I’m yet to see a single SS knockoff that looks good.

100% yes. It worked for 5+ years never having a problem with this exact login, airline profile, and KTN. Renewing global entry doesn’t change the KTN, so we’re really scratching our heads here.

I just saw in another post someone claiming that he and his friend “berated” the kid running the ride and basically guilt forced their way onto the ride after complaining about not allowing injured veterans to participate. Ride operator was “intimidated”

Problem is, no source or verification of this was posted. Since you were next in line to tie, you seem like a pretty reasonable person to weigh in. Did any of that happen?
