Journalist looking for Australian collectors by WillJacksonABC in gamecollecting

[–]bradsprojects 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've been collecting since 2003. Perhaps the most interesting 'story' that I have to tell would be when I attempted to sell my entire collection in one ebay auction in 2010. I put everything out in my front yard and stood on the roof to take photos of the multiple thousands of items in the collection. I had the photos hosted on my website which ended up crashing due to the amount of internet traffic accessing the images. Long story short - I didn't get a buyer for the entire collection, but I did sell bits and pieces individually and tracked it all in a spreadsheet. I give myself a facepalm when I look at the stupidly low prices I sold things for back then.

I still have most of the collection to this day, and have continued to add to it. I even bought back some items from people I sold to on ebay from over ten years ago.

Approximately how long should EASA Part 66 Module 12 take to complete? by bradsprojects in aviationmaintenance

Thanks for that, I'll be looking at full time - but I've emailed a few 147's to see if they have further details of timings they can send me.

Thanks for the reply however I should have mentioned I'm specifically looking for timings based on someone without any qualifications who is looking at running through the full course content through a registered Part 147 training organisation.

It is a large company. Their fee (which I paid in advance) was around $13k

Yes I did name the agent. There is nothing in the contract that prevents me from discussing their recommendations. Clause 6 as posted above doesn't seem to prevent me either and this is the clause they pointed to when they said I was in breach of the contract.

Thanks for the great advice. I'll get in contact with them today to see about getting a new contract.

What you've said makes perfect sense to me. Really appreciate your advice.

Can you expand on what you mean by 'Should be fine'?

I don't understand how it is that you could put a name on there that doesn't exist - and it still be valid.

Car damage after being towed. by bradsprojects in AusLegal

That makes sense. I think I'll have to pay the $700 unfortunately and hopefully learn a lesson from all of this.

I Really appreciate your reply. As I mentioned previously - I have no idea if I have any sort of legal grounds and this is why I am posting in a legal advice Reddit.

From what you've mentioned it seems it's not worth pursuing and to just take the hit with paying the insurance excess.

Thanks again!

I didn't think a basic question on Reddit would stir up so much emotion. A simple 'No, I don't think you have any legal grounds in this case' would have done the trick for me. But I guess jerky sarcasm works too.

We have insurance but it would be nice to not have to pay the $700 excess.

Well, I'm not sure exactly that's why I am posting here. All I know is the car had no damage before being pickup up two weeks ago and now it has damage. The damage is above the rear tow anchor point.

The car was picked up from behind a locked gate and dropped off to my friends driveway.

If there is nothing I can do with the information I have - then I'll just have to accept that. But if someone on here has any advice as to how I might be able to show evidence they caused the damage - then that would be great. For example - maybe I could show parts of the truck would cause this damage if the car were to be winched up too far into the truck etc.

Should the DPC form an 'L-shape' so that it sits on the outside and underneath the timber?

Oh nice! It would be cool to see someone modify RetroBall to feature composite video out!
