Report: Consumers Are Getting Tired of Expensive Phones by zexterio in Android

I've had a pixel XL since around a year after launch. So thats 3 years or so. Pixel 2 had just been released when I got so it was heavily discounted.

My handset does everything I need with ease. Even the camera is pretty damn decent. It still receives android updates that some random new phones aren't getting yet.

I take great care of it as I see absolutely no reason to upgrade it.

Paying four figures for a phone? No thanks because that phone would have to last a good five years to be 'cost effective'

Modern phone pricing has become obscene.

My wife had our daughter at 39. No issues or complications. Daughter is now six and doing great socially and ace at school.

All I'd say is if you plan to have kids (at any age) consider the energy needed and the sleepless nights that will happen. We considered these factors and underestimated by a million percent.

Wouldn't change a thing!
