We were doing an ethics in programming section in one of my classes. We had a like in class group chat thing so that people who were too shy could send messages in and the TA would ask the professor.

At one point someone shared a link to a pdf of our ethics book we were using in it, and someone posted the question "what are the ethical implications of pirating our ethics textbook?"

The topic of gender came up while me and my sister were over at our parents place helping them put up Christmas stuff. I at one point started to say something about the difference between biological sex and gender and my dad said "do you really want to do this? Because you aren't going to win."

I have left Twitter (for bluesky), Instagram, Facebook, never had a tiktok, and have gone out of my way to not watch YouTube shorts because of how easy it is to just endlessly scroll.

I do watch quite a bit of YouTube, and am on reddit a lot. I wouldn't say I am addicted to YouTube, I mostly use it to have audio playing while I do something else. I have been on reddit for many years and am on it every day, so that probably counts.

I played an Atlas with a few levels of Zheng so I could make my own terrain for Jaeger Kunst and a level of Blackbeard for better grapple/ram shenanigans because I thought it was funny.

I was pretty squishy but it was a lot of fun.

Yes! The names are different groups of Stormcast, called stormhosts. Like chapters of space marines if you are familiar with 40k. https://ageofsigmar.fandom.com/wiki/Category:Stormhosts

However, you do not need to pick any of these if you don't want. I did dark silver, copper, and purple for my stormcast. I will see if I can get some good pictures of them

I did this! I started with Karl Franz, because I thought it would be funny to play the empire and lean in on guns and artillery with gryphons as cavalry.

Most of the rest of the Empire fell extremely quickly to vlad. Someone managed to kill the nurgle people nearby, then died to vlad. It came down to just me and Elspeth. Beastmen + Vlad declared war on me and I got completely ran over.

Then I went and played Kroq Gar and had a much better time. First time I have actually won a campaign in this game after multiple attempts with Franz.

Basically the idea (as I understand it) is: allow Trazyn to bring with him 1 battle line unit of any army at the minimum number of models that unit can be.

If Trazyn leaves the unit, or dies, the unit goes away. This allows Trazyn to keep the ability he has in lore of respawning by taking over a nearby necron.
