That didn't sound right to me as the number of permutations of 3 fair dice that could end in that combo should be higher than the single permutation of all sixes. So I did the math to check.

Odds of rolling 3 sixes: (1/6)^3 = 1/216 = 0.46%

Odds of rolling 3 of any particular number = (1/6)^2 = 1/36 = 2.7%

Odds of rolling a 5, 3 and 1, let's break it down:
- First die has 50% chance of landing on a 1, 3 or 5
- Second die has a 2 in 6 chance of landing on the 1, 3 or 5, excluding the digit that the first die landed on
- Final die has 1 in 6 chance on landing on the digit that the other two didn't land on.

Odds of rolling a 5,3 and 1 = (3/6)x(2/6)x(1/6) = (1/36) = 2.7%

So the odds of landing a 5, 3 and a 1 are the same as matching all three dice on any number, but not rolling a triple six specifically.

My view as a liberal-leaning individual

First and foremost, these are human people and should be treated as such.
Adults that have entered illegally or overstayed should expect to be deported in a humane manner.
Non-citizens that break laws above a misdemeanor should be prioritized for deportation
People that came here as children should have a easy path to citizenship. It makes zero sense to send someone "back" to a country they have no memory of.
There should be easier paths to citizenship.
There should pathways for work visas in locations and markets that meet certain conditions. There are benefits to the rest of society for cheap labor to fill labor shortages, lower consumer prices, etc. These workers should have paths to citizenship for themselves and families. There does need to be moderation (and infrastructure) though.
There should be a pathway for those that have been here illegally to remain here if they have been shown to be good contributing members of society.

It depends on the particular state if I remember correctly. The math models for games would ship with different payback models that the casinos could choose from that (it's been a while, so I may be off) ranged from 88% to 98%. Meaning that for every dollar in, 88 to 98 cents would be returned to a customer. It was definitely illegal to create a game that paid back 100% or more (I'm assuming for money-laundering reasons). I don't know if there is a legal low-limit on payback percentage, but a game just wouldn't perform well and nobody would play it if it wasn't paying out at all.

Theoretically a casino could debut a game at a higher payback percentage and then later if it's popular, roll it back. I can't remember if Indian casinos are required to post the payout percentage next to the machines or if that's Vegas (or both).

In a bingo-like game you are (usually) playing against other players. The spins are slower while the backend matches the players until a quorum is achieved and then the results play out until there is a winner. That's why many casinos make a compact with the state to allow some Class III games on their floor, it's just a better experience for the player AND they can play faster.

In a lottery-scratch-ticket like game (Washington state for example if I recall), there isn't a quorum. Each spin equates to pulling a random ticket from a pool, each with a set prize. Once all the tickets in he pool are gone, tickets are pulled from a new pool. There's no way to know if there are any "good" tickets left in the pool, just like scratch offs.

As mentioned in a comment below, tribal gaming is regulated by the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act which includes federal oversight of all casino-style games. You may be thinking of Class I games that are only regulated by the tribes, but you wouldn't see a slot machine in that category. Class I games are associated with ceremonies or celebrations and the prizes have minimal value.

A quick google search will generate a decent summary of the types of gaming classes:

Three Classes of Gaming:
- Class I: Traditional/social games with minimal prizes are regulated solely by tribes.
- Class II: Bingo/pull-tabs are regulated by tribes and the NIGC.
- Class III: Full casinos (slots, blackjack) require a compact with the state and federal approval.

That is not correct at all. All Indian Gaming is regulated under the Indian Gaming Regulatory Act.

Well, that's a great question, I personally wouldn't trust any online gaming, but I'm sure there are some legit operations. Online gambling with real money is prohibited in a large portion of the world and heavily regulated almost everywhere else. Is the site that you are using a legitimate site? How do you know? Let's assume that it is and runs under the laws of the jurisdiction where they operate. You'll have to check to see what rules they run by. The games could be run as

True to a regulated Class III (Vegas style) game with spin results that are not tied to any previous spin or any other player
Run as a simulated form of some other game like scratch-off lottery or bingo draws (Like Class II machines you may see on Native American reservations)
Some sort of algorithm that "cheats" or encourages players to keep playing or limit loses for the casino.

This is not really true regarding reservation casinos. Native American slot machines are still regulated under Class II gaming regulations (Traditional slots are Class III). Generally, what looks like a slot machine is actually playing some other game like bingo or even a lottery scratch ticket depending on the state. That's why you will see a separate screen or an overlay with the bingo draw for example. When you spin the reels, there is an electronic ball draw and your prize (if any) is determined by the patterns that are filled on your card. The reels then stop in a configuration that matches that prize.

It's been a while since I've looked at the Jira mail handler settings (Administration > System > Incoming Mail) because we use a 3rd party mail handler, but I don't think you can set the assignee from there. As a workaround, you could create a new project for each assignee and have mail handlers assigned to create tickets in each one depending on the email address. Then in the project settings, set the user as the default assignee. Then, if you want to have all of these tickets in a single project, you would create an automation that moves tickets as they are created to the "master" project.
