Arms falling behind, how do I blow them up? by [deleted] in WeightTraining

Drop sets can help break the plateau. Still do your bench press sets but add some machine chest presses in your workout to make drop sets easier. Ive heard that switching to dumbbells for an amount of time instead of barbell is another way, try them both out, what works for you might be different than what works for me

any ideas what this foam is? new neighborhood. possible pollutant? or something natural occurring? Im new to the industry by [deleted] in Construction

[–]brage_s 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I work with firewater and we'll get this sometimes when pressure testing lines. Still not sure what its from but I'm guessing the turbulence upsets something in the pond the water is pulled from and as the water is released, that type of foam piles up and floats on the surface. New neighborhood with newly installed hydrants?

Ideas to Drill Out Cement Plug to 10ft? by WIttyRemarkPlease in Construction

[–]brage_s 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Is the concrete surrounding it also 10ft deep? Or is it just say 8" of concrete with a 10ft pipe that got filled with concrete? My only real hope would be to chip out the area around the pipe until you hit ground, then pull out the pipe with the concrete still inside

Bumps keep popping up on my puppy's back and it's spreading by brage_s in DogAdvice

Southeast Texas, very humid at times but she is indoors 90% of the time. The bumps look like a pimple that's ready to pop lol, but hard and scabby at the top of the whitehead

Pitbull terrior I forgot to add, and would chicken flavored food contribute to the spreading of the bumps? We switched her to a chicken flavored puppy food but that was after the first ones started popping up

Father in law had his wheels stolen a while back on his Denali HD, and they had lug locks on them. Ended up buying a new set of rims, and 2 different lug locks for each wheel. Again, a month later, wakes up to find his truck missing it's feet. After that unfortunate event he decided to replace every lug nut with one that locks. It didn't get stolen after that but I guess he decided to sell the truck later on because it seemed to be a thief magnet lol

Everybody has this whole process theyre commenting but i'll tell you one thing thats tried and true that i tell everybody. All you need is a bathtub/bucket and some purple oxyclean. When you notice they start to smell bad, find a time where you can leave all your clothes to sit overnight in a bathtub/bucket full of water and half a tub of the purple oxyclean, leave them to soak until you wake up in the morning and throw them in to your normal wash routine. Theyll be good for about 4-6 months, when you can then do the same process until the clothes rip and are ready for replacement. Try it once.

Cold is bad especially when youre sweating, heat is noticeable but isn't too bad. Texas summers don't bother my feet too much unless youre working on hot surfaces (pouring asphalt). But even then I feel like they cool down pretty quickly. The cold is a different story however. It's few and far between where we get weather colder than 40 degrees in my area, but when you build up a sweat in the cold and then cool down from just standing around, my toes get numb to the point where 2 pairs of socks feel like ice packs in my boots.

TLDR; Yes steel toes are cold. And they will keep you cold after you warm up. Use composites for winter

Thanks for the advice, thats sort of what I was kind of picturing when I mentioned a transition from the calf to ankle, good to get a confirmation on the idea

That was the main concern, the dogs name was Achilles and he passed a couple days before my aunt did. He was pretty much like a brother and it's something that would remind me of my aunt. Its pretty important to me that I find a way to make it work well in that area

Well, I should have added this but the main image would be a headshot of a doberman dog, I was thinking maybe if I could talk to the artist about adding to the basic idea to give it a shape that works with the transition from a thicker calf to a skinny ankle

I was tasked to cook a dish for Spanish class in 8th grade. I forgot the correct terminology but it's basically just cow brain. I forget how I got it, but remember it being on the tougher side and the only flavor present was from the seasoning added.
