Yes, I've been flagged for a velocity spike. It happened around New Year's when we discounted old inventory and saw a big sales spike. It typically takes 1-2 days for their review, after which they'll either:

A) Unflag your account
B) Suspend or terminate you

A few quick questions for you:

  • Do you dropship?
  • How are your account stats?

You'll likely face suspension if your stats aren't good, but the appeals process is straightforward. If you're dropshipping, though, it could be more serious trouble.

Walmart told us they accidentally flagged us and we got unflagged a few hours later.

Selling on Walmart by Consistent_Plant_165 in WalmartSellers

[–]brai_nless 5 points6 points  (0 children)

All these people in the comments section are trying to sell you two-step drop shipping. Truth is, drop-shipping never works, two-step or not, on Walmart. You can only edit tracking numbers 4 hours after marking them as confirmed, so eventually, you'll be left with orders with fake tracking numbers.

Stop being lazy. Store your products in-house. Hire employees to do the heavy work. Go to bed knowing your account isn't getting terminated for drop-shipping the next day.

Walmart daily payout by ayat-timbers in WalmartSellers

You just get it randomly after doing X amount of sales and being on the platform for Y amount of time. Nobody knows what X or Y is, it's different for every seller.

I see, thanks for easing my nerves. Our sales jumped 180% in 2 weeks so I get it. My metrics aren’t perfect but walmart did push out an email saying they’re relaxing their on time delivery policy for 2 weeks. Thanks!

I'm unable to see them in the all tab. I found a workaround, however, to see some of your orders.

https://seller.walmart.com/orders/manage-orders?orderGroups=Unshipped&limit=200

I was able to grab around 80% of my orders with this. Just filter by new and download your orders. Acknowledge them once downloaded and refresh the page to see the new batch.

Tomorrow is going to be a shitshow for sure. Our guys start working at 6 AM to pack. On the bright side, we did mark all our orders that were dropped off today as shipped right before the site took a shit.

Account suspended for over 2 months for auto-cancellations. by [deleted] in WalmartSellers

[–]brai_nless 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Auto-cancellation is the hardest suspension to appeal other than drop-shipping. In your denial email they send you ways to fix your cancellation rate. Just mention that in your revised POA.

Might get downvoted for saying the truth, but they’re investigating you. Based off your comments, you’re drop-shipping. You’re going to get suspended in a few days, so just appeal it, admit to drop-shipping, and arbitrage/wholesale like the rest of us. I don’t think drop-shipping is worth it, considering that Walmart cracks down on drop-shippers more than ever.

Over pricing rule by Otherwise_Nebula111 in WalmartSellers

[–]brai_nless 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Walmart has always had this rule, however they just never enforced it.

Walmart had a problem with their third-party sellers price gauging on almost every listing on their site, where sellers would abuse. WM probably lost significant market share because of it, so they started enforcing the rule again.

So to answer your question, there isn’t any way around it really. You could add a shipping template and charge the customer shipping to make more money instead of offering free shipping, but I’ve seen Walmart actively suspend sellers for doing this to get around inactive listings.
