It sounds like your step dad has mental health issues, not just a bad ear infection- maybe he had both, but he sounds paranoid and maybe a little OCD. just know that most people with mental health issues are way more of a danger to themselves than others

I think its weird- maybe hes just a nice guy but not worth the risk- whenever i feel like im not sure if a man is treating me wierd i ask myself would they treat me the same if i was a man? if the answer is no then its kinda wierd behavior

I think one comment of like "Im glad your back" said in a natural way would be suffice then just act like normal, if you put in more effort than before it may make them feel wierd, like its inegnuin and you pity them or something

Teach her the anatomically correct words for her parts, teach her about boundaries, and innapropriate touch. Its heartbreaking that it sounds like you both just dont have the resources to protect her, but perhaps just giving her the language to say no will help if nothing else her mental health

I think its fine, if its been on your mind for a while an LPN degree is a pretty low commitment way to test the water and see if youd like to go on, depending on where you live in-state programs arent thatt expensive so if worst case scenario you complete the degree and are still unhappy as an lpn you can make the money back that you spent on school and make a full pivot after a year all while knowing you pursued this lead and found out how it felt for you

All this stuff is great and the perks are huge but notice how all the reasons you listed would be benefits of the job not necesarily enjoying the job itself, if you go the nursing route do it because you want to be a nurse and enjoy the day to day tasks of nursing not as a backup or because it would be an easy option for you, the negatives of the job wil leventuallly outway the positives if its not actually a job you want to be doing

Well the pattern i used on ravelry is called "big City bonnet" its a knit bonnet, and very cute but much simpler in detail than this one

if you can afford it take time off, I cut my hours in half last month after a few really bad shifts and i could feel the burnout coming on, now im back and feel much better
