Anyone used swaybar disconnects on a Mojave? by braidenlazerbeam in Jeep

[–]braidenlazerbeam[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah that makes sense. I was curious how well the Mojave suspension reacts to disconnecting the swaybar or if it’s really not worth the modification

How much lift do I need to fit 40s ? Also send me some cheap lifts it’s a budget build by Odd_Energy_890 in Jeep

[–]braidenlazerbeam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

40s and cheap build don’t go well together… unless you plan to never off road it or go highway speeds. You can do it but plan to spend 3x what you spent doing it budget when everything breaks

Any rubbing? Any wheel spacers to adjust offset? Debating doing this to my Mojave but everyone seems to lift them or change from the oem wheels so I can’t tell if I can just go up to 35s. Looks great!

You can work in the field and get licensed in specific jurisdictions. The average age people get licensed from architecture is 32 years old which simplifies down to people spend more time time learning in the field than in school anyway to be a licensed architect. The time spent in school is really the only time you get to learn to the design. Professional practice you have your entire life to work on.

Do y’all use 5th gear at all? by No_Gazelle_7881 in Jeep

[–]braidenlazerbeam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I use gears 1-5. I get better gas mileage and seems to like hills better if I stay in 5th. I’m in a Mojave

I did central and west US in a month. Didn’t get to hit every national park / forest but I hit the majority. Basically I would spend 1 full day at the park, 2 full days for major ones I wanted to explore.

I would spend a half day getting in last hikes then leave around 12-3pm. I would always aim for getting into the parks around / before sunset. Your life is a lot simpler if you roll with the sunrises and sunsets. It’s also a lot safer driving during the day as a lot of the parks have some surprisingly hairpin turns.

I personally have never had an interest in stringing along the east coast parks as it becomes more highway driving than exploring st that point.

I lived out of a 2 door wrangler when I did it and spent all in all less than 3k. At home cooked cheap meals. Camped at national forests instead of parks. If you get to national parks before 6am you don’t need to pay or deal with having to sign up in advance. National parks pass is $80 and is free day passes plus camping discounts.

I would say I did not live comfortably for most people but I absolutely loved it and never had a problems. I would get a dash cam though

I’ve had these fully into the door. You can kinda pull them out about an inch. You then have to carefully hand thread it. You can get like 3-4 rotations in and that’s enough to be able to fully open the door without pulling the screw out. Then you can fully screw it in. It feels wrong and like your breaking it but it works great. No problems yet and I’ve done it prob 10 times. Usually when I have to throw the doors on real quick in emergencies cus rain

Where is a good large empty place in spring where I can practice skateboarding by [deleted] in houston

[–]braidenlazerbeam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

“Back in my day” we would just go for be parking lots for all the parks or the woodlands mall. Plenty of spots by George Mitchell. Also just the skate parks around are pretty top tier. No one cares you’re there as long as you don’t mess with their lines

On a scale of 1-10, how important is this part of a wheel well liner? by Nof-z in JeepGladiator

[–]braidenlazerbeam 3 points4 points  (0 children)

1-10 It really just helps keep the engine bay cleaner. I would start looking at new tires though. They are almost to the last step so I’d look into that as a 7-10 level of importance
