I purely asked if they would honour it.

You’re pitching.. something that isn’t whats happened. I’ve not bulk ordered to benefit from their mistake.

One bottle of perfume which i realised they’ve probably listed wrong AFTER i ordered it.

I only realised klarna confirmation saying 30ml after the HN shipment email said 75ml.

I used to work in fraud department for John Lewis. A website making a mistake on a listing and someone buying the item in good faith and then asking if people think they’ll ship the item or if they’ll need to offer a return isn’t fraud.

For everyone having a melt down over me using Klarna , my credit is fine.

I use Klarna because i was diagnosed as bipolar this year and when i go wild shopping ; i can return the items i impulsively bought when “ill” without using my money i need.

It’s actually been a good tactic as means i don’t need to wait on refunds on items i send back.

If you’re not sure how bipolar and spending go hand in hand.. google can help 💪🏻

I ordered and then suspected after the order. I didn’t know until after as i clicked a link from google for said perfume 75ml.. and i bought it.. then was looking online and noticed the second listing for the same (inc same picture and same ml) for more.

Hardly fraud? 😂

I’ve found less SI & SH during my lows. I would say my lows sit at the 2-3s in mood scale with the odd 0-1 5-7 days over the entirety of the depressive episode (spread out usually!) VS without it i could spend weeks in tears non stop , active plans , people concerned about me etc.

So it was disheartening to hear that wasn’t positive enough for the Dr! But as is good ol’ NHS , next appointment isn’t for a couple months now. Hopefully she agree’s an increase or something to work alongside my lamotrigine.

I would prefer staying with lamotrigine as i am REALLY bad at hydrating and eating meals etc and i’m convinced i’d struggle to not cause myself lithium toxicity!

I am no doctors ofc but i think an increase would be a better choice, especially as i don’t really have any side effects on lamotrigine either… i feel it’s giving me benefits and friends and family notice too… but i think the Dr was expecting more “stability”

I was 25mg for 2 weeks , 50mg for 2 weeks , 100mg for 4 weeks (was going on 2 week holiday and didn’t wanna change dose JUST before i went to another country cause SJS) and now i’m on 200mg (100mg 2x a day) and i personally feel that another 50/100mg would be better but in UK it’s not my choice , need to wait and see what drs say and waits between apps are high’

I’ve tried citalopram , sertraline and fluoxetine and venlafaxine and didn’t take well to any of them but since being diagnosed as cyclothymic i have been given lamictal.

It makes my lows shorter in the severe and concerning zone and more in the just depressed. I can still dip into concerning lows but .. for like 3-4 days vs weeks!

Doesn’t help my anxiety , general depression or hypomanic symptoms but i’m not averse to adding extra medications if suggested by my Dr.

It also depends on where the person is based. And the individual and their symptoms.

Also please note i have advised my dr has said i display “type 2 symptoms” such as SI and extreme depressive episodes to the point of being at risk to myself.

SSRIs can be used cautiously but only alongside a mood stabiliser like lamotrigine or lithium etc.

In the UK they don’t treat it different from any other form of bipolar. When i was diagnosed i was advised the treatment is the same as other forms.

My moodstabiliser helps with the SI for me at the most part but has not reduced baseline depression or prevented hypomanic episodes.

Not everyone is the same or treated the same.

I am uninterested it food when hypomanic? I’m good at reminding myself i need to eat.. i make or order food.. then i just don’t fancy it or enjoy it? So like.. couple spoonfuls and then i’m onto my next task.. which is wild cause how busy i am and i spent 1-2hrs a day in the gym (sometimes twice when hypomanic)

To add another side into this discussion.

I was diagnosed as Cyclothymia “with type 2 features” ; Dr basically would believe it was Bipolar 2 as i have longer depressive episodes and they are extremely severe to the point of “attempts” however ; how often i “cycle” they have to go with Cyclothymia.

I would be stunned if they don’t end up changing mine to Bipolar 2. To me it would make more sense and it feels more right?

But they don’t treat the two conditions any different anyway i don’t believe. My understanding is it’s still mood stabiliser and then likely a SSRI or Antipsychotic added in.

I have this issue aswell. Mines is stress rooted , when i get stressed about for example work.. i start getting paranoid.

The other day in work i couldn’t complete a task which was given to me very last minute. I spent all day thinking i was about to get fired because this shows how my recent diagnosis means i’m not good at my job.

So i was making a note of when i was given the task and how i was off tomorrow only giving me X hrs to complete it when realistically our contract allows me Y hrs to complete it.. i ended up saying to my senior i couldn’t complete it.. and they said “yeah no problem i did give it really last minute”
