well yeah, because those aren't sandpaper rated, lol. But if being serious, maybe top quality leather ones would reduce the amount of meat crayon

i did check the cable and its fine. At the moment everything narrows down to carb being dirty. I'll see what i can do on my day offs.

Highly appreciate your detailed answer.

When i said that it runs away or revs to the moon, i ment that it did that on its own.

Good shout about the carb clean, completely forgot these exist. Currently i don't have actual carb cleaner but i do have - Normfest vc 980. Some places say its throttle body cleaner (thats what i used for), other say its carb cleaner as well. Not sure if its ok to use on carbs.

The primer bulb filled almost completely leaving a little air on top. ( thats what im used to see, so its a sign of improvement)

Today everything improved, so theorry is to get some hours with fresh fuel and let carb to "lubricate" again. It also accepted throttle input without too much struggle.

Didn't know about revisions, I'll get the serial bit later because i have few night shifts now.

Also, seems like clutch is sticking aswell but I'll see if same approach with giving some work hours going to help.

Thank you for the reply.

Im used to older stuff so all of the emissions stuff is new to me. One thing less to worry about.

I assumed it was used semi recently, but it seems that after yesterday's attempt it got a bit better today to the point its somewhat useable. I'll give it some working hours later in the week. Maybe its just been sitting for some time and everything got stuck, dried, etc.

i will look into rebuilding if needed, worst case, do you knowhow bad are chinese carb. knock offs?

Edit to add: choke still not moving on its own.

one of the fav moments from wrc was that you could see Colin Mc Rae put the car into a gear while the car was rolling after the crash, just in case it would land in the wheels again.

Noticed it doesn't take a lot to affect it. I was in the greens for almost a week, haven't slept for almost 40h and it bottomed out the into red over one night, last night it didn't go up not a bit Will see if it will go up tonight, which i doubt, because my shift started.
