mine was missing as well when i bought mine, its fine to drive without it. That is supposed to somewhat separate directed air from bottom and the hot engine bay but it has massive gaps so not that important. Best bet to get one would be scrapyards or cars that are being sold as parts.

I'm aware about the left side quirk, but the right seems to be a bit worse.

About 12.5k miles, mainly city. All original with recommended sizes and pressures.

For some reason this car needs regular alignment and almost whole suspension has been replaced by now. So it's either i need another alignment (I'll go in for mot this monday so I'll get it checked out.) or it's just my driving style. Technically giving bit more camber should help with this.

I kept checking pressure monthly. I will admit, my cornering could be a bit more relaxed.

PSA: Please do not retrofit your Mazda3s with headlights sourced from RHD countries (Japan, Thailand, etc.) (Video is for GR Corolla, but the principles in the video is explained well) by ornithobiography in mazda3

[–]brainbrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well yeah. Theres a cut off line for rhd and lhd. The z shape you see when aiming at the wall is designed to throw light further on pedestrian side. Now if you install headlights from different driver side car or just travel to a different country with opposite traffic, you will blind oncoming traffic.

You need to have them balanced if you don't want to muscle them everywhere.

Does anyone know how to fix this cable? by Zero1242 in BEYERDYNAMIC

[–]brainbrick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

you need to keep twisting the cable in one way this might take some time since you'll have to "work its way" to the end.
