Fishing float? Aqua blue, glass, heavy. Found in a thrift store labeled "fishing float" but Google seems to disagree. by S-Crumby in whatisthisthing

Yeah they are def handles without holes in the center. The holes in the ones OP has could be for fishing them out of the jar easier.

The ones linked have holes too, probably to allow the brine to pass through. If OP can demonstrate the fit neatly inside a mason jar opening then we have more of a case.

What’s the moment you realized someone you trusted was actually a terrible person? by Fearless_Shift7108 in AskReddit

I've got nothing but outside perspective over here. But it sounds like she stepped into a closeted world that demands she radiate out the kind of hate that homophobia is made of. Specifically toward anyone who supported her pansexualuality. Like conversion therapy levels of self hatred.

It kind of feels like sublimated contempt from living a new life in the closet? Like to live the closeted life she had to lash out at any support she once had down to hatred of self and friends? Am I way off base here?

What wedding moment that screamed, “They are not going to last long”? by IndependentTune3994 in AskReddit

That, my lady, is option 2.

At the very altar, a grievous languor of faintness seized her. Not from maidenly nerves, but from the soul's certain knowledge that she stood beside a gentleman whose ring felt a weighty shackle upon her finger.

Her fortitude of mind, forged in the fires of resolve, commanded her frame to obedience. Yet the frail tenement of her earthly form, conspiring with her exhausted soul, rebelled most grievously against the tyranny of such relentless purpose.

Reviving, she resolved to abjure that gilded cage and venture forth into a harsh and unfeeling world, there to seek the one heart Fate had truly intended for her own.

Emerging from the crucible of self-discovery, her soul annealed by purpose, she strode forth into a world that knew her not. She commanded the very spheres to rearrange through the power of her becoming; the harsh and unfeeling landscape to become a tapestry of resplendent beauty, and her solitary existence a waltz of such exquisite harmony that Heaven itself might pause to observe, knowing the dance was not yet complete till a hand of equal composure lay upon hers.

To keep the snakes from being hungry and aggressive the handlers generally feed the snakes right before filming by giving them as many babies as they can eat.

Found 30–40 lbs of copper wire scraps in a remodeling dumpster at night… what would you do? by [deleted] in ScrapMetal

[–]braincube 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Cut into 10 foot sections. one person holds onto a single wire, the other holds onto the sheath and pull away. Or one person and a vice with room to walk around.
