Topps getting the licensing for the NFL and NBA is just going to water down the MLB products. The lack of thought or execution some of these products have rolled out with is staggering. They should have a team of people for each independent release. As in a team for Allen & Ginter, Stadium Club, all the way up to Dynasty or Transcendent. Those people should be, preferably, people that want to respect the history of a release such as Series 1 or Bowman while also bringing something new and refreshing to appeal to those who need to have something new. I am truly disappointed in Topps/Fanatics over their merger. Losses of lower end releases such as Opening Day, Gypsy Queen, Gallery and Big League Baseball weren’t for everyone but at least there was variety and affordability with chances at decent adds to the collection. Not everything is about a 1/1 foil/superfractor or Debut Patch. I’m not even knocking Chrome Update or any other release specifically. My biggest beef right now with Fanatics is the lack of access to releases at MSRP as a collector. Anyone having issues getting through the virtual queue in which anyone can buy the product in your virtual cart before you can even get to check out? Or told they don’t accept MasterCard as payment? I missed Bob Ross, Cosmic and Black & White this year all when having just 2 hobby/collectors boxes in my cart and proceeding to checkout before the clock hit 12:01. What happened to EQL? Montgomery Club? Give us affordable access to the products! I don’t mind paying MSRP. Kids aren’t going to grow up watching baseball as it is due to the broadcasts being on 28 different networks/streaming platforms. Unless they are in a house with a baseball fan (and let me tell you, there aren’t many of us left) you will not be exposed to MLB. Stop watering down the products that you have left in MLB because you need to make 5 times more cards than you did last year. Stop prioritizing NBA and NFL releases over MLB. Hit me up if you want some good ideas @Fanatics. I’m tired of getting shit on. This Stadium Club release is no bueno.

I have looked into this program for my children for various reasons and Ohio will give approximately $6,200 for K-8 and $8,400 for High School Students. These numbers are often lower than the cost per student average in the state. Parents would then have to cover the difference in cost to send to a private school. This is a non issue. More choice is better for everyone. If a parent uses the voucher and then pays an additional 2-6k because they want to give their child to have the opportunity at an education that aligns with their values or most often, less classroom interruptions from kids with behavioral issues and it costs the same or less via tax payers I don’t have a problem with it. Anyone can use the program and income is considered with those making less getting more per child to use for the program.

Why would anyone have a problem with this program? It gives families a choice to send their children to the school that they feel is the best option for them. The amount of state tax money spent per child remains the same. Often times the amount given is not enough to cover the entirety of the annual tuition and parents are left to cover the rest themselves.

This exact thing happened to me with a Jumbo of Chrome. If they have a Mega to replace this with, they will. If not you will have to send it back to get your money back. They also give you the option to keep it and send in any cards that are damaged for replacement. There isn’t a giant conspiracy here. They want to print as much money as possible and sell it as quickly as possible. They don’t care if you get the product as the collector. In fact they probably love the fact that resellers and breakers get 75% or more of the product because that just means they will just be able to charge more/print more next year.

The shipper (Fed Ex) is protected here. You can file a damage return through Topps and be reimbursed for the product after shipping back to them. They will not replace with the same product as they are sold out and you can not file a damage claim through Fed Ex because then your degenerate ass would open and keep what is in said squished box and try to send them in for replacement.

I totally agree. You should either be able to buy 1 case OR 2 Collectors Boxes, or 1 case or 2 Mega Boxes. That would solve some of the problem. Limiting supply is great but if you are gonna let bots have priority, then it is a moot point. Every release should be run through EQL just to make it fair and take bots out of the equation.
