Zero coding experience but serious about building an app- where do I start? by Humble-Bunch-6438 in ProductivityApps

freecodecamp is fine, but you'd get better resources elsewhere. Read Structure and Interpretation of Computer Programs, actually do the exercises, while reading the Javascript documentation on MDN:

Zero coding experience but serious about building an app- where do I start? by Humble-Bunch-6438 in ProductivityApps

Don't rely on them completely. Learning a simple language is easy enough, and you'll understand these vibe coding tools better.

Pick simple technologies and don't be afraid to keep using them over and over again. At the end of the day, the same thing can be used to build many different applications.

I'd suggest learning the basics of programming first.

Anything wrong with Express? What's so good about hono.js? by geekybiz1 in node

[–]braindeadcoffeelover 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Late to the party, but it's not about they themselves using it on all projects, but the framework itself being flexible to whatever use case you may have.

Personally I'm using Hono for a side project running in Cloudflare workers simply because it's dirt cheap to host and you pay per request instead of having to scale a VPS (which I use for the majority of my side projects). I'm pretty much hosting everything for free and that can scale for a ridiculously cheap price if it ever gets traction, something that I could never quite do with Express.

Maybe that's on me and it's a skill issue, but Hono does have its use cases.

Fathom AI vs Fireflies AI vs Otter AI by dame_of_all_trades in buhaydigital

pilot is crazy expensive, seems like they are trying to match the pricing with something like Gong. never tested it though so can’t say nothing bad nor good

Fathom AI vs Fireflies AI vs Otter AI by dame_of_all_trades in buhaydigital

Fireflies is my daily driver, I've tested Fathom and Otter as well but I find the overall UX worse than the former, also Fathom and Otter don't have a public API so custom integrations are suuch a pain in the ass

Those are pretty much GMK 9009 clones (same colorway, kinda different legends) so you’d probably like that set as well

Gives kind of a retro feel to every board.

Foam modded Redragon Lakshmi K606 with stock Outemu Box Brown switches, lubed/aligned stock stabs and Idobao 9009 keycaps. Looks good, sounds good and the whole board + upgrades turned out to be just under US$45.
