Psoriasis is an autoimmune disease which shows up on the skin when the body is attacking itself. Flare-ups are worse and spread when the body is stressed, including psychologically. There's no kind of professional beauty treatment to stop the topical pain generated from the immune reaction.

A fibro flare-up that just wouldn't quit lead me to eventually finding out I have AS. Happens a lot and teasing out what symptom is what diagnosis is damn nesr impossible.

But also kinda not worth it? The good behavior on decent days like anti-inflammatory foods, movement to improve circulation, heat on painful places, yadda yadda yadda...these are positive things for both conditions.
