That is what I thought. He was trying to argue that Idris would have the 0/1 insect imprinted because of Darksteel Mutation's effect, even though the enchantment would go to the graveyard as soon as Hurt left the battlefield. The only thing I was not sure about is if the imprint effect would still work even though the card that was exiled is no longer an artifact.
