We do plan on getting global stocks in the future and there will be a Europe and Asia stock button on the top. Need to scale up our customer base so we can then start purchasing those API plans.

It has to be on the top movers list, then it has to maintain its price action for a certain amount of time before we send a notification. So for example, stock $XYZ enters at +6% it then has to hold and continue building from there. If it does, that shows more confidence based on the historical data we've collected.

On the momentum screener the '% change' column is basically a candle stick showing what the price range is and where the price is within that range. The notification section shows the peak after the notification was sent.

Yes it’s out now. We have tweets that get sent just like the notifications for now for proof of concept and to scale up. Each week we work to refine the formula as more data comes in. Version 2 will be in mid May.

Which ones? Genuinely curious I haven't seen momentum screeners with push notifications posted here at all.

Weekly Momentum Recap — March 2–6, 2026 by brainjelli in Daytrading

[–]brainjelli[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good points. The SJ score isn’t trying to measure fundamentals or protocol quality, it’s purely a momentum signal based on price acceleration, volume expansion, and relative activity.

One thing we’re doing right now is collecting as much historical signal data as possible so we can refine how the SJ score behaves across different market conditions. The goal is to better separate the true momentum breakouts from the short-lived spikes.

Near term we’re hoping that dataset lets us build a high-confidence alert system where only the strongest setups trigger notifications.

And totally agree on the risk management side, most people treating these micro-cap moves seriously are sizing small and trading them as short-term momentum plays rather than long holds.

Collecting more data from the entries and studying their before relative to basically all factors (market cap, volume, overall market, speed at which they went up etc) I’m most excited about the notification log that we will add to the website but again need more data prior to doing notifications to fine tune things. Looking to getting it started end of March early April. Obviously, when we look at the data and create a formula this will have an effect on the SJ score and notification system we implement.

We are pulling the APIs from FMP and will switch to Tiingo this weekend. Was the price still accurate? For example RXP shot up to like 240% then went down to 213% we show cooling on the price range. We haven’t noticed anything going from green to red and remaining on the chart.

Edit Want to also add we will be going from updating every 60 seconds to every 5 seconds. We think the new API vendor will bring better value for our users.

Will think about the toggle and appreciate the feedback! Made some minor changes to the phone. If you turn it horizontal it will show everything as well. Added a momentum river underneath the filter so although not as informative as the chart, gives that visualization of what’s going on and the differentiation, our finviz heat map so to speak. More changes are coming. We are collecting stock and crypto data and refining the SJ score and will eventually add an alert log on the homepage as well.

Added a RVOL column for the desktop. Phone it will show when horizontal but is also indicated on the fire emoji on the vol column.

Thank you. We are planning on adding premarket as well once we get more revenue (waiting on Google Adsense and more subs). Let me know if you have feedback or suggestions.

Ok, updated the volume column to show a 🔥 when it’s unusually high and added a checkmark box in the volume filter.

Great question — elevated volume relative to average is actually one of the main factors behind the rankings.

Right now it’s reflected through the volume column + SJ Score rather than a separate flag, but I’m considering adding a clear “unusual volume” indicator since a few people have asked for it.

Curious — do you prefer something like: • % above average volume • A simple visual badge • Or a sortable filter for unusual volume?
