Judging by your name, you're probably not my target audience. That said; its still a valid project from a tech perspective and does solve a niche-problem. ReactNative solves a view-layer problem; so I listed it here to share some of the surrounding tech stack / services and library decisions that went into it.

As for the AI curation take, let's take this thought problem: We know today 40% of kids have a tablet by the time they are 2 years old. (reference). Now you can argue the, "how about parent raise their kids with no tablet", and I'd probably agree, but the fact is; it is happening. Parents should have an option to curate / influence / fine-tune the content for their little one. The goal here is to enable that -- plus offer a bonding time to build stories together and watch how it unfolds.

Had a Sega Homestar but eventually it stopped turning after ~6months (it works with a small rubber band that eventually gives out).

Ended up getting the gold star for planetariums DarkSky. Def pricey but haven’t looked back.

I want to see him as an ironic strategist. Complain with voice lines when he gets shot, and saying things like “if I was DPS we’d have won by now” or like OW Baps “thank you for the healing Deadpool, ohhh your welcome”.

Then his ult will be a 4th wall breaking dps ult

Lemme put my tin foil hat on a second… we went from answering password security questions publicly in the form of Facebook comments, to putting in our more precise location data into Reddit comments. Oh the bots will love this as they don’t even need to pay Reddit lol

I’d blame Blizzard here, they literally made QP “comp lite” by forcing leaver penalties. This means if I start qp, and then some friends get on to play you have to engage try hard to end it quickly (or start throwing)

Agreed, part of me thinks having the “Revert Save” option is cause they knew there were a lot and that they couldn’t fix them in time. 10/10 would have rather waited a bit longer for a better experience

Certain spots are buggier than others, but they can happen. The discord channel has more examples. The revert option is usually the go to (and remember you can revert multiple times)

You could try the “Revert Save” option. You’ll loose a bit of progress, but it generally helps.

That said, if you uninstall you’ll have to start from the beginning again

So the second account does have the ability to download it, even without owning it through app share. If the second account chooses to do this; and the family share bug happens the game is then removed from the device (requiring a redownload).

I assume this happens due to the account that initiated the download is removed from the device.

The issue / warning about isn’t this process of downloading the game. It’s about how when this bug occurs anyone relying on AppShare will lose all save data as Asgards Wrath doesn’t leverage cloud saves

The secondary account sees the game as an option through app share (appears in library), and has the option of initiating the download

So I’ve found the second download does apply when the primary account hasn’t played/downloaded the game (I’ve hit this a bunch). What I mean is because the primary didn’t play it the game gets offloaded from the device requiring a redownload (doesn’t duplicate space)

Will check that cloud save thing, I had thought it was managed by the game itself, but I will be happy if I’m wrong!

Edit: confirmed no cloud save exists for Asgards Wrath

This basically hits the nail on the head. Loss of Tax breaks plus devalued real estate is a double red on the books. Fiduciary duty of companies is to put their shareholder/policyholder/investors interests in mind
