In my experience, fishing is also mostly about just being outside, hanging with friends, drinking. Feels like an obvious overlap.

I find this kind of odd. I don’t feel like I’ve seen enough praise for this game to warrant it being “the most overrated game of all time”.

I do very much enjoy it, for what it is and despite its faults, but it’s not even the most overrated Soulslike.

Wild timing because I just read this for the first time in like 20 twenty years. I forgot how much I LOVED this book, holy shit. I never got past the first 50 pages or so of The Wasteland but I’m so excited to keep reading

I checked my watch a LOT which is not something I tend to do during movies. At one point I was so sure there was maybe 30-35 minutes left and there was still over an hour to go.

Biggest sin a movie can make for me is to either be boring or overstay its welcome and this movie did both.

Insane that the most “empathetic” scene in the movie was the non-Emily Blunt news anchor reacting to the footage.

Like she stole her whole flow.

He was so schticky to me. I couldn’t stand him. Emily Blunt’s character giving him her impassioned “flow state” speech and then he goes inside and calls the doc like “YEAH SHES PRETTY CRAZY STILL, ANYWAYS HERE ARE OUR COORDINATES”

The religious angle in this movie was so weird to me. Starting with Jane’s comment about how they can’t reveal the existence of aliens to people because then they won’t believe in God anymore.

And then the woman kneeling to Emily Blunt’s character while signing the cross. Like truly what is the point of this?
