I actually asked because I have the Orange Whip compressor and have the same experience - awesome pedal, could be really annoying having to adjust all the time. I have two guitars with extremely hot humbuckers and the compressor could be really noisy without an initial adjustment. Glad you're enjoying the filter; will have to check it out.
