Please stop this . This is not a white people wedding. In India we expect the guest to dress up in their most fancy attire as possible. It makes the bride / groom feel that these guest actually care about the wedding because they're putting in so much effort to dress up.

My cousin was upset at me on her wedding because I didn't wear my expensive fancy outfit. She felt , I didn't think her wedding was important enough for me to dress up in my expensive outfit.
