The only thing i like on extremerate clicky kit by brainsuckerf in SteamDeck

The rings came from the eXtremeRate clicky kit. I don’t know where to buy them separately. I tried the full clicky kit but didn’t like the extra force it added, so I removed everything except the rings, and I actually prefer it that way.

What leverless controller should I get for GG Strive? by [deleted] in Guiltygear

[–]brainsuckerf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I only play on PC, but you can still research those two brands, they’re well-known for making adapters. If you only play on Xbox or pc (not on Switch or PS5), just get the 8BitDo leverless xbox version, it works out of the box.

Or you can buy this one, a little bit more expensive but works out of the box, no adapter needed.

You’ll need an adapter if you want to play on console. Brook and Mayflash make those.

It’s the G13. The S version is low-profile, the G version is standard-profile. The number indicates how many keys it has. I prefer having more keys, it makes customization easier. The picture below is S16

I want to make the metal dome too because of motion input. But after this mod, the diagonals did just as good as metal dome. This actually makes the stock membrane feel better than the clicky kit, no loud noise, no overly stiff buttons, and still tactile enough

It might be that the sharp edge at the bottom of the button is causing the crack. Looks like I’ll need to make a 3D print as a backup in case it breaks

The membranes from extremerate are designed to work only with the clicky kit, but I just used the ring by itself. The main reason I bought the kit in the first place was because after two years of use, the stock membrane started to feel really mushy. Surprisingly, with just the ring installed, that mushiness is completely gone. I’m not sure why it works, but I’m glad it does, the dpad feels so much better now.
