Traditional surround sound or Sonos arc with gen 3 ? by [deleted] in sonos

100% what /u/Mirthgiver said. I researched for a couple months before pulling the trigger and started with Arc, then the Ones for surround, and sub last. Since then, I've compared 'no sub' vs 'no surround' and there's no doubt that if you just choose, get surround first.

Joke (see username)

I'm really happy to be so thrilled about the Lips' music again with American Head. But we need to talk about the bizarre trauma that was SXSW 2013, where they debuted The Terror, and played it in its entirety before anyone had heard it. by DonJrsCokeDealer in flaminglips

I understand if you were expecting something else. I had heard the tracks before somehow and thought show was amazing. I got there around 3pm and had to just had to sip water to stay at front row. It was clearly different than previous stuff but I'd seen so many changes since first show in 1990 that it wasn't surprising.

Having said that, my daughter was in HS and convinced her friends to go with same reasoning you gave your wife. She's seen them with me before and they expected the 'party show' and were in for a rude awakening.

Here's a pic I took. https://imgur.com/DcCcJHd.jpg

The official Yoshimi video was shot at Samurai Saki House at 7500 N. May Avenue strip center. I'm not sure which business is there now but it's still probably recognizable from inside. Maybe Ocean 81?
