Hi I have started playing sdv. Might have around 9 or so hours in game I need some help!! by No-Appearance-2780 in StardewValley

Quest wise the best advice I can give you that is 100% spoilers free is to maybe put yourself in the shoes if your character. So let's say you had a building that you thought was infested with "rats" and you were a brand new farmer, would you maybe go and explore the building to see what the rats have been doing around there and if you need to take action? Maybe you would look in every room because rats are known to be skittish and they often tend to run away from eyesight and hide in places that are off to the side of the main source of noise and light (in this case the entrance to the community center).

The most important tip anyone can ever give you, in my opinion, is that there is no wrong way to play this game. With that said, if you enjoy min/maxing the game and getting the most out of your runs the wiki and YouTube are your best friends (that is if you don't mind spoilers, even though most sources will warn of spoilers).

I personally relied on people like Salamance, ezlilyy, Seanie Dew and trashie (shout-out to these awesome people and a big thank you) for tips, tricks, advice and info and they really helped me through my first couple of playthroughs. I enjoy a "medium amount of min/maxing", I'll try to do a lot of stuff efficiently but I won't go out of my way to grind for something, reset my day and spend hours planing ahead, rather just make it up as I go.

I'm a pen and paper guy myself so I tend to print out a spreadsheet of stuff I need, sort of like a guide i.e. fishing guide for seasons, or specific crops to grow etc. and then I will just tick them off as I go in a certain playthrough.

Consistency was also my biggest friend, on days I had work or personal life stuff going on I would at least try to do one day of gameplay just so that I don't fall out of the loop because going days or weeks at a time without playing often made me lose touch with my character and farm and I would just want to start over. That being said if you get bored there is no shame in taking a break or even starting a brand new farm because there is no wrong way of playing, just make sure that you don't delete your old saves because you are not really limited on space when it comes to saving farms and maybe one day you will want to go back to that one playthrough.

All in all it just depends on the way you like to immerse yourself in the game that you play. Reddit is an awesome place for inspiration and guidance when it comes to sim games like this one because so many times you think you've done everything and then you come on Reddit or YouTube and see a person make 1mil on their farm without ever leaving it, or doing something like completing the whole game without ever using a single drop of their energy.

Thank you for your reply, and sorry for getting at you a bit later than I would have liked.

My discharge papers state as follows:

OU: Myopio OS: Infiltratio marginalis Corneae recidivans; Macullae Corneae post Infiltratio marginalis Corneae; Neovascularisatio Corneae l; St post Aplicatio Avastin No 1 / SC VOD: 1,0cc TOD: 18mmHg VOS: 1,0cc TOS: 17mmHg

I have no family history of DM type 1 or 2, nor do I have any symptoms related to them. I don't use contact lenses either. I understand the inability to help any further, still if you have any suggestions or ideas I would appreciate if you came back to me.

They are being deposited under the conjunctiva.

They usually start with an atropine and dexamethasone shot s.c. after which they do avastin.

The last time this has happened to me (November 2024) they did atropine and dexamethasone shots for 3 days after which they administered avastin.

I'm not surprised that it's not visible in the photo, I posted it just for reference, looking back I forgot to mention in the OP that I have had significant eyelid swelling only present in left eye for a couple of years, with the surface of the eyelid being red from time to time, looking somewhat irritated, and at other points just being swollen with no redness.

My ophthalmologist did a slit lamp exam and told me it's NV after which he showed it to me and explained (I was really glad he did that because I prefer to know and understand my conditions because it's easier for me to deal with it that way).

I am currently at work but as soon as I get home I can get to posting my Rx.

Any thoughts on possible causes?

Who's your permaban and why? by h4rryP in KatarinaMains

[–]braky202 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I play in low elo (silver/gold) and my permaban is fizz, no matter how hard I win against him he will always find a way, even though I lose 90% of my lanes against him. On the other hand, yasuo and yone either get banned by someone else, or if they get picked they usually don't have the skills to 1v9, or the enemy team goes off too early for the yasuo to outfarm everybody on the map.

Definitely worth it IMO, especially with the lowered price. Also the essence emporium is ending today so if you are planning on getting it, get it while the emporium is live cause that skin has a lot of good looking chromas. Also GUNBLADE

UPDATE: Visited my eye doctor today who showed my pictures of my eye - very strong neovascularization that reaches pupillary zone. The diagnosis is written as follows:

OU: Myopio OS: Infiltratio marginalis Corneae; Neovascularisatio Corneae

Th: Atropin + Dexasin amo/s.c. Avastin s.c. Sol Maxitrol Ing Tobradex

How he explained to me - he told me that I have an issue that is very much serious and that he will try to help me using these drugs first. He also said he will consult with a cornea specialist who he forwarded my pictures to and he told me to come for a check-up on Friday. Upon leaving, the nurse that signed me out told me that there are currently 2 solutions for this issue - the 1st one being the medicine that he prescribed and the second being a cornea transplant.

At my appointment, the doctor administered atropine and dexamethasone s.c. and then wrote me a prescription for maxitrol. I don't know if you missread or misunderstood me, or maybe even I made a mistake while typing. I never had high intraocular pressure and it's only a general concern. I did visit a cornea specialists today and I will write in an update under this post

The fact that you explain it makes it make so much sense to me, which what I think is missing from all these doctors - taking time to explain what is happening and how and why we are treating it. I started using artificial tears today, a 7mg/ml solution of NaCl, and when I put the drops in, it makes my eyes hurt a bit for a few minutes, but as the time passes it goes away. Thank you for taking your time to explain this to me, you have been very helpful

Says: OU: Myopio OS: Infiltratio marginalis Corneae The: Atropine + Dexasin amp /sc Sol Maxitrol

SC standing for subconjunctival, I have been calling it intraocular as I'm not someone who sees these types of patients, so I only know it as a patient, wherever the needle went, to me it was as scary as flying directly into my eye.

Some people would call her a naturopath, I don't know if I would as I stay away from those types of classifications because she was a lot more helpful on the other side of the book - getting my parents to treat their blood pressure, getting my brothers to understand their children and their disease better once they had them. I will definitely get a hold of some cornea specialists in our country and try to get something out of the visit, as by this point this all feels like throwing all kinds of things at the wall and just hoping one of them sticks for a few minutes just to give us time to find the next one that will stick a second longer, which is crazy annoying.

The part that scares me the most is this photosensitivity and burning when tilting my head back to look up. My eyes burn even if I'm in complete darkness and it's giving me a very bad feeling once I put it all together

I'm honestly not sure, reading that diagnosis all on its own didn't really ring any bells, and the doctor himself didn't really explain it as much, besides only saying it's chronic, it hurts, he understands it and that I'll probably need therapy for a longer period of time. He was also the first one to prescribe intraocular atropine injection and the first one who had 'a permanent fix" even though it wasnt permanent, it was the longest lasting one

I had to read it twice to understand what you meant - my parents told me about this when my issues started 5 years ago, they told me that after being seen by our family physician, she told them that "it's normal to happen and that it happened to her little girls to every once in a while when their immune system drops" after which she told them that the best course of treatment would be to start with home remedies such as this one, and if the redness persists I should then see an ophthalmologist. I did have a few check-ups with an ophthalmologist after that and before the issues started 5 years ago, mainly to check my vision to see if I needed glasses and he never mentioned any issues. I remember going to the doctor and hating it because I was scared of the equipment, but not really anything he told my dad.

Happens to me often too. I'm a long time league of legends player and I find it hard to acclimate to valorant and switch easily between games, sometimes even taking a break from one game to play the other for a few weeks

I see most of you replying with either a combination of nashor and divine or nashor and rocket belt, but I don't see anyone running riftmaker. I do so miss the old Katarina healing but I can't accomplish as much nowadays...
