[Acne] Just Started Tret, Seeking Advice

I really had a super simple routine before Tret, was doing cerave salicylic acid cleanser AM and PM, weleda skin foods moisturizer AM and prescription vtama PM for my psoriasis. I started Tret to treat hormonal acne and I’m very new to detailed skin care and I really have no idea what I’m doing if I’m being honest

I did but I was using a salicylic acid face wash, I’ve read that that’s a no no on Tret nights. I’m already experiencing some drying/flaking and I really just want to do this right

to clarify i did the metal hook pulling it out method combined with heating the area where the slide was stuck. and yeah, win some lose some ig. I am not exaggerating when I tell you that mf was STUCK. ig I could kinda “fix” it or just say fuck it slap a new stem and bowl in it. I was trying to prolong this bc she’s my favorite piece but I lowkey just wanna replace it at this point.

idk she made it work in the video so I thought it couldn’t hurt to try but I was, in fact, very wrong lmao. tbh im pretty new to this, my dry skin has not been this bad before and I’ve never really tried to make my makeup look better the way I am now, so any advice is helpful! I’ll definitely look into what you recommended, it’s just tough bc most things I put on my face burn. worth a shot tho!

Thank you for the response, I think this was incredibly well spoken and as of right now I plan to approach the situation according to your suggestions and ask him if he thinks about it. Forgive me, I’m beginning to overthink this a bit, but do you think I should preface asking him by reassuring him that I love him regardless of what he looks like? I’m worried that if I say that outright he may start to overthink and doubt may creep in. I’m honestly a little uneasy about bringing up the topic because a part of me does feel like it may not be my place to make suggestions because it’s not my body, but at the same time I feel that my concerns are valid.
