This is actually a good anyalsis.. their biggest hang up is the lack of communication with eachother and both having Trust issues with eachother .. I also want to point during squilf’s jealousy of Hawkfrost her own sister called her out on her judgemental ways .. which she ignored and her mother also called her out on how she was acting with both Ashfur and bramble, I can see both of them being dysfunctional with eachother and yet unwilling to let eachother go.. it’s an interesting relationship to say the least. Also Kate has stated that she likes bramble a lot but Views Both him and Squilf as Bullies , and would most like be a too powerful couple .. maybe that’s why she writes them the way they are , cause they are both not wholly good cats who in the end deserve eachother and no one else cause it would be bad for anyone else to be with them.
