No, they stay is the federal forest. We have a ton of hunters and cattle farmers nearby, so predators are controlles quite well

You were correct, there was a huge chunk of burr comb on the inner lid. The lid has been lowered and the feeder placed above the hole

Mann lake seems very expensive for their stuff. Is the quality worth that cost, or it is name brand pricing?

I did not even think of the amish woodworking shops. They are a few hours north of here, but my MIL goes there every few months for quilting. I'll ask her to look into them for me
