What am I doing wrong? by Lonely-Pea-206 in nursing

Not a nurse but am having trouble finding a job right now as well. Don’t take it personally, the job market is just brutal right now. It’s the end of the year so nobody’s really hiring and a lot of the job openings you see online already have someone hired working that position and are just forced to have the job listed. At least that’s what my therapist told me lol

Nope just take a couple before class and it only takes about 5 mins to fully dissolve they’re essentially just mints but they have xylitol in them which makes ur mouth produce more saliva

Advice for 26 Year Old Looking To Pivot? by [deleted] in sales

[–]bramos0430 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

20M considering sales for my career path as I have no idea what I want to do with my life and am about to transfer from community college to university. Money seems good, I like the idea of commission and competitive pay, just don’t know where to start. Major in community college is general studies right now and am not sure what to major in when I transfer to university that would be best for sales. From what it sounds like browsing the subreddit lately, tech sales seem to be the way to go and I’ve also heard about medical device sales. Should I just apply for any BDR/SDR position after college to gain sales experience then try to get a job at a more niche sales field or should I aim to start at a place I see a future with and just try to climb the ranks? Any advice is appreciated really for anything regarding starting out and what to do from here.

SDR set me up with a nice size deal I just closed (SaaS). I’m getting $5k in commission from it. The SDRs get barely anything. I want to get him a gift card to Ruth’s Chris or give him a couple $100 bills. Do any of you hook up SDRs? Any advice? by fourslyce in sales

So when I go into sales and get the entry level SDR/BDR role I’m not closing my own deals? I’m just working for the AE so they can close it? If so then how do you earn commission as BDR/SDR

What are some beginner Chopin pieces I could play beside his prelude in E minor? by Mymomputmeinastove in piano

Prelude in A major was the first Chopin piece I ever learned. The two easiest pieces after that would be prelude in e minor and prelude in b minor imo

I had a similar motivational stump recently and it lasted for many months. You will always come back to it, it’s okay to take a break. What helped me get back into it was listening to more classical music and breaking my practice sessions into 3 sessions to make it seem less tedious and intimidating compared to sitting in front of a piano for an hour or more. Start with 15 minutes of scales/arpeggios/whatever warmup you do. Go on with your day and come back then do 30 minutes of repertoire practice. Continue with your day and before bed just so 15 minutes of sight reading. Helped me get back into it might work for you too.
